There are two different techniques for joining the hemispheres. In the welding technique, the foils of the hemispheres are pulled over the carrier sphere and welded at the equator.
This floor globe has a sphere diameter of 37 cm and is equipped with a rotating and tilting wooden meridian. The total height is 105 cm. The base and column are made of walnut-coloured natural wood. Due to its small footprint, this rather simple floor globe is also suitable for smaller rooms.
