There are two different techniques for joining the hemispheres. In the plug-in method, the cartographic film is applied to the half-shells, which are then plugged into each other and glued. This process has now been perfected to such an extent that external adhesive tape is no longer required at the equator. This significantly improves the quality of the globe and the representation near the equator.
Our 16 cm mini globes are an interesting new product for many areas of application. Also suitable for smaller locations, they show the countries of the world within their current political borders and contain more than 600 geographical references. The globe, 16 cm in diameter, can be rotated and tilted on two axes, making it easy to find any destination. It is available with both a political map and an antique-style map. The modern, sturdy plastic base guarantees stability and is easy to clean.
