With TFA’s AIRCO2NTROL 5000 you can monitor how depleted and contaminated the air is in rooms where people spend prolonged periods of time, e.g. schools, offices, public institutions. With timely and energy efficient ventilation, you can provide a healthy indoor climate.
The AirCO2ntrol 5000 is a CO2 monitor with a data logging function using an SD card. Alongside the CO2 content, the device measures the ambient temperature and humidity and tells you the date and time.
The display shows the current CO2 level as well as a graphic with previous readings and the corresponding maximum and minimum values. The bargraph’s time axis can be set to one minute, one hour, one day or one week. You can also choose to display the last measured temperature and humidity readings.
A coloured traffic light indicator allows the CO2 values to be read at a glance and changes from green to amber to red depending on air quality and the threshold settings. When a predetermined maximum value is exceeded, an additional acoustic signal can warn against a too high CO2 concentration.
The comprehensive logging function enables storage of over 1 million data sets (Co2/humidity/temperature with the date and time) as CSV files on the supplied micro SD card. The standard measurement interval of five seconds can be adjusted to suit. The stored data can subsequently be simply and quickly analysed using Microsoft Excel. The AirControl 5000 is powered using a USB cable connected to the supplied mains adapter.
