Designer standing globe Atmosphere Stem Reflection
With the STEM model, ATMOSPHERE has created an extraordinary new shape for a floor globe. Extremely elegant with its chrome-plated steel base and 80 cm high, slightly inclined column, it can be placed effectively in any room and allows easy viewing of the map even when standing. The 30 cm diameter globe is illuminated by a 25 watt light, allowing the object to be used as a fully-fledged floor lamp that can be switched on and off with a foot switch. The cartography contains over 1,000 pieces of information, including countries, capitals, seas and mountains. In addition to the country names, the country dialling codes and internet abbreviations are also shown (e.g. 49/Germany.de).
The Stem Reflection features interesting cartography in grey and white: when unlit, the oceans are white and the continents are grey; when the light is switched on, only the continents are illuminated, while the oceans remain dark.
