Universal globes from the Kosmos publishing house are manufactured by Columbus in Germany. These high-quality globes, which are offered at a very reasonable price, are the result of a cooperation between Kosmos, the natural history publishing house, and Columbus, the renowned manufacturer of globes. The globes combine artistic skills with an up-to-date map!
The two Universal globes are, as the name indicates, one thing above all: universal. They are suitable for school children and students, in the office, or as a real eye-catcher in the home.
- The political Universal globe shows a political map when unlit. When illuminated it shows additional deeper layers of the seas as well as mountain zones.
- The physical Universal globe shows the physical map with mountain shading when unlit. When illuminated it shows the political boundaries, whilst retaining the colour contrasts of the countries.
Both versions have an integrated power cable, the cable is attached to the side of the base.
