Two lenses connected by a cardboard tube: discover the wonder of magnified images!

Very inexpensive kit for a Galilean telescope. It is reminiscent of the great Italian natural scientist who pointed his homemade telescope at the sky for the first time in 1609. The discoveries he made completely changed our view of the world. The pre-cut kit contains the cardboard parts for the telescope tube, a lens with a focal length of +225 mm and the inwardly curved lens with a focal length of -35 mm for the eyepiece, typical of Galilei.

• Extended length: approx. 180 mm.
• Assembly is easy and takes only about fifteen minutes. The finished telescope has a magnification of 6½ times with an upright image, allowing you to make observations during the day and see the shadows of the moon's craters (best when the moon is half full), among other things.
• The small Galilei telescope is an ideal project for groups and school classes.
