For those interested in cartography, a globe has a major advantage over a map: a globe is true to area, angle and length. A map cannot fulfil all three of these characteristics at the same time.
However, this scaled-down, spherical model of the Earth as a celestial body is impressive not only because of its "cartographic" capabilities, but also because of its mix of materials and clever dual function.
The illuminated globe "Earth" by radius-design can be adjusted to any height. With a height of 90 cm and a diameter of 30 cm, as well as a combination of steel, aluminium and plastic, the illuminated globe "Earth" can also be used wonderfully as an effect light. The globe impresses with its double map image (illuminated physically, unlit politically).
The floor globe Earth lamp is available in both German and English. A 60 W/E14 standard bulb ("candle shape") is used as the lamp, which is not included.
