The mechanically produced globes by Räthgloben 1917 have a very attractive price-service ratio. Modern, rational production technology and careful, professional globe assembly are the reasons for the great success and the constantly increasing demand for this series of illuminated globes.
There are two different techniques for joining the hemispheres. In the plug-in method, the cartographic film is applied to the half-shells, which are then plugged into each other and glued. This process has now been perfected to such an extent that external adhesive tape is no longer required at the equator. This significantly improves the quality of the globe and the representation near the equator.
