The world first CCL, Computer Controlled Levitation
The electromagnetic floating globe is an impressive high-tech instrument. A magnetic field sensor continuously measures the levitation height of the globe. The sensor and the electronics in the base control an electromagnet in the upper part of the bracket, thereby controlling the distance between the globe and the magnetic head. An additional permanent magnet in the base holds the globe securely in place when the levitation mechanism is switched off.
Like magic!
This high-tech instrument is an instant conversation piece as soon as it is set up. The weightlessness of the universe is now a little closer to you!
