OKLOP  Canvas  Photos  collects  artwork  of European  amateur  astrophotographers.  The photographs rich in detail and color show the wonders  of  the  universe  not  only  digitally  but also on canvas prints. Each image is manually inspected, printed on a high resolution photo printer  and  carefully placed  on  a  pinewood frame  with  sawtooth  hanger.  The  printed image thus continues on the sides of the frame, so that it stands out from its glide when placed on the wall.
The photograph shows the North Star, which is positioned in the centre of the image. As the night progresses, the stars rotate around it, creating these beautiful streaks when the camera shutter is open. This apparent movement of the stars is a result of the Earth's daily rotation.
