The DUO map image is printed in high resolution and with great precision, so even the smallest text is crystal clear and easy to read. The political map shows the countries clearly separated from each other, making it easy to find countries and capital cities quickly. When the lighting is switched on, the brilliant colours of the elaborate print blend together and the physical image with detailed vegetation zones becomes visible. Mountain ranges appear almost three-dimensional.
Hand-laminated: Special waterproof paper, elaborately printed on a 120 fine grid, is glued by hand onto the high-quality acrylic sphere. The non-toxic andlow-odour varnish protects the laminated sphere from external influences.
The break-proof, graduated meridian and base made of glass fibre reinforced plastic give the globe a purist design and high durability. The LED filament lamp is also durable and replaceable.
The fabric-covered cable not only provides additional safety but also a pleasant feel and appearance.
